PROJECT RABSTEJNLAB

 

RabstejnLab is an astrophysical work place, whis is located in the picturesque area of Rabstejn in the West of Bohemia. Under leadership of Dr. Bohumir Mike Placek there is builded an observarory for reserach of cosmic radiation. With the aim to realize and validate the cosmic radiation, in order to implement and test the new detection methods, which were previously developed by Dr. Plaček.

 

Another aim is to build a technical support for innovative production of solar concentrators.

 

Currently is this technical difficult project in the phase of building.




 

 

OUR STRATEGY:

A.RESEARCH
 

  • RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT OF NEW TECHNOLOGIES AND METHODS OF DETECTION IN THE SOLAR AND NEUTRINO PHYSICS AND ASTROPHYSICS. By aplication of these methods and developed technologies we want to create conditions for gathering of new knowledge and deepening of our knowledge of neutrino physics, solar physics and physics of cosmic rays.

  • DEVELOPMENT OF NEW NONEXPENSIVE WAYS OF THE SOLAR PARABOLIC CONCENTRATOR PRODUCTION. These concentrators we want to introduce to the practice first as prototypes and later as serial products.



B.INTERMEDIATION OF NEW KNOWLEDGE TO PUBLIC
 

  • PUBLICATION ACTIVITIES
    Institution is running own small publishing. Important for us is delivery of new knowledge in the form understandable for broad public.

  • MEETING OF EXPERTSIn order to assist by the solution of complex interdisciplinary problems,our institution is organising meeting of experts, lectures and seminaries.

  • ASTRONOMICAL OBSERVATIONS Our institution is allowing astronomical observations using powerfull astronomical telescopes.

RabstejnLab - astrophysical observatory

 

It is our pleasure to inform you, that starting from the March 3-rd, 2014 is the astrophysical observatory Rabstejn nad Streloou, 108, officially recognized and registered as the scientific institution under the name RabstejnLab. Following the changes of the Czech civic law it is the first institution of this type in Czech republic. This was also source of legislative problems and delays in the process of registration caused by gaps in present legislation. Nevertheless our effort was at the end finally successful.
